In terms of area, Renfrew County is the largest county in Ontario, spanning 7,645 square kilometres along a 220 km stretch of the Trans Canada Highway.

Bordered by a new 4-lane divided highway, transportation is simplified by intersecting routes, which provide easy shipping to major destinations such as Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Detroit and Buffalo.

The historic Ottawa River flows through the Ottawa Valley, bordering Renfrew County to the north, which also links us to neighbouring Quebec. Ottawa, Canada's capital city, is at the eastern tip. In the northwest, we span into Algonquin Provincial Park, which is Ontario's largest.
