The Township of Bonnechere Valley is located in the heart of Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada. Our delightfully scenic township is located in the Upper Ottawa Valley about 150 kilometers west of Ottawa, approximately 355 kilometers Northeast of Toronto and 40 kilometers southeast of Pembroke, Ontario.
The area takes in 603 square kilometers and includes the Village of Eganville and the former townships of Grattan, Sebastopol and South Algona.
The total current population is 3455.
The whole area is characterized by a story book kind of scenery dotted with lakes and rivers, hills and forests.
Not only can you witness nature at its finest with abounding lakes or the beautiful Bonnechere River entwined in the woodlands of the Canadian Shield, but you can also explore the mysterious and world famous Bonnechere Caves.
